More About Potomac

Potomac Maryland is part of Montgomery county.  It is named after the bordering river and has grown to an estimated population of 46,050.  With an estimated median income over 169,964, Potomac was named in 2008 by CNN Money as one of the top earning towns in the country.  This seems to make sense considering the nations capital is only 12 miles to the southeast.  Winter averages a temperature of 25 degrees and summer expects temperatures around 87.  Most of the days in the year are sunny, yet about 40 inches of rain and 9 inches of snow fall annually.
